Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

These terms govern use of socialtheorymedia.com and any reporting tools Social Theory Media provides to a client.

1. About us

Social Theory Media is a marketing services business. We provide marketing services and build custom reporting tools for contracted business clients.

2. This website

This site is provided for information. We aim to keep it accurate but make no warranty that it is complete or current.

3. Client tools

Reporting tools we build are made available only to the client who commissioned them and to people that client authorises. They are not public products and are not offered for sale, licence, or resale.

Access. Access is granted through the engagement agreement between us and the client, and can be withdrawn by either party.

Read-only reporting. Our tools present information drawn from systems the client already owns. They report; they do not manage advertising campaigns, move budgets, or change account settings.

Accuracy. Reporting reflects data supplied by third-party platforms and by the client’s own systems. Where those sources are incomplete, mislabelled, or delayed, the reporting will reflect that. We surface known limitations rather than hiding them, but we do not warrant that third-party data is correct.

4. Your responsibilities

If you use a tool we provide, you agree to keep your access credentials secure, to use it only for the business purpose it was built for, and not to attempt to access data belonging to anyone other than your own organisation.

5. Intellectual property

Content on this site belongs to Social Theory Media. Ownership of custom deliverables built for a client is governed by that client’s engagement agreement.

6. Third-party services

Our tools connect to third-party platforms including Google, Meta, and others. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, their pricing, or changes they make to their services.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Social Theory Media is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunity, arising from use of this site or of tools we provide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Termination

Either party may end an engagement in accordance with the applicable agreement. On termination, access to tools we host ends.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.
